HOW IT WORKS
The input from the telescopic probe feeds RF into the high impedance tuned
circuit with the poly variable capacitor. The 5 pole switch selects the coil
for the chosen band. All coils are fixed type to the tuned frequency scale is
only apporximate. The diode detector drives either headphones or the meter.
Sensitivity is adjusted by the length of the telescopic aerial.
It is not very good at selecting RF so it is not really a wavemeter!
