OK, but the point is different and more complex.

I don't fully evaluate the newest BPQ node software, but I'm almost
convinced that it can manage the G8BPQ netrom implementation, the pure
netrom and ipn3 too.

The problem exists on the side of the *pure* netrom nodes which that
cannot manage either the *bpq mode* nor the *inp3 mode*.

The other problem which concerns every and all nodes (protocols) is
the management of the *real* and true *reachable* nodes in the real
time. Some ideas for this solution are already stored on the JNOS2
labs.

As per my knowledge, the challenging software could be once again the
JNOS2 since it implements a *true* pure netrom, and an almost developed
inp3 implementation.
The new JNOS/JNOS2 perhaps implement the best behavior of *G8BPQ mode*,
but again it don't understand the *pure* netrom when switched on :(

We still don't know how to do miracles, but we are learning how to do
them!
