Severe risk should remain minimal across the CONUS for the remainder
of the period.

Convection continues to largely diminish in both coverage and
intensity across the Four Corners states.As already minimal
instability diminishes further in tandem with diurnal cooling,
appreciable risk for severe weather appears to have ended across
this region.
Elsewhere, scattered to isolated showers and storms will continue
into the overnight hours -- including portions of the Pacific
Northwest, parts of the Northeast, and a large part of the
southeastern quarter of the country.In all areas, severe weather
is not expected.
