I don't really have an opinion as to whether to use two-letter or four-letter codes for the continents.  Looking at my WP directory I see both in play and my system is setup to route both.

What has thrown me for a loop is a station in Dominican Republic using .NOAM instead of .CARB.  Also, I saw (historically) that Hawai'i was using .NOAM instead of .NPAC or .OC or... whatever.  

I'm not trying to be disruptive, just attempting to figure out what's what.  :)
