I am writing this to say that I am disturbed by some (so far it only looks
like the Winlink admins) who have a problem with Dave's bulletins. There
are MANY in the packet bbs community who look forward to a daily dose of
humor and putting a smile on our face as we go off to work. Yes, some are
repetitive at times and some are of a slight British-tinged sexual nature,
but overall it is NOT in a general sense against ANY (especially the FCC)
rules for the topics included. There are many voice repeaters and HF
frequencies replete with more hard core items and behavior than what we
see in Dave's bulletins of humor. If a few naysayers are enough to throttle
some free speech, and we get nough of that in today's overly sensitive
society, then I will ask Dave to email them directly to me at this BBS
(n2nov@n2nov.ampr.org) and I will redistribute them from NYC. As it may
sound like in my missive, I am a Libertarian leaning, conservative minded
American nearly 60 years old (GASP) who does not like the idea of anyone
being silenced. BTW, I am also running for Congress in 2020 for NY-11
(Staten Island and South Brooklyn).
