Hi BPQ sysops,

As I have announced last week, I have arrived to Athens, Greece, to
participate in an international conference. I slightly reconfigured my
portable BBS to run under the special callsign J41MPB from September 1
to September 15. The HA is J41MPB.ATH.GRC.EU

NOTE to my forwarding partners: If interested in contact with me during
that time, pse make a copy of fwd file(s) you have used for YT7MPB
and/or YU7BPQ mailboxes.

This afternoon I tried to operate my club's FT-857 and it worked pretty
well with a forwarding partner in France, by pactor 2 mode. On the other
side, one of my soundcard interfaces that was supposed to operate an HF
packet ports 'kills' itself as soon as the HF radio TX in pactor or
robust packet (probably because of local RFI issues in this tiny hotel
room where all my gear is positioned almost side by side on a very small
table. (And because of that problem, the HF packet and APRS beacons on
HF are still not available. In opposite to that, VHF APRS is working
well via another soundcard interface.)

Furthermore, the other spec callsign SX021IEEE will celebrate the IEEE
organization of the conference, during the next two weeks. Manos SV1IW
who helped a lot yesterday to install a portable HF antenna on the
room's balcony will probably be the main "DX" operator by using that
call (by SSB and CW mainly).

PS: I welcome reports on your receiving this msg. Tnx!
