...THERE IS A MARGINAL RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS
OF NORTHERN FLORIDA AND SOUTHERN GEORGIA...
...SUMMARY... A few strong to severe thunderstorms remain possible
across portions of northern Florida and far southeast Georgia
tonight.
...GA/FL...
Deep convection remains confined along a narrow corridor from the
northern Gulf Basin, arcing across northern FL into southeast GA.
This corridor is characterized by high PW along the southern
fringe of strong mid-level cyclonic flow. Mid-level heights
should gradually fall across the Southeast tonight which should
encourage a pronounced surface front to sag south into the northern
FL Peninsula by 12z. Thunderstorm clusters, and a few supercells,
should propagate east-northeast along this moisture plume, ahead of
the surface front through sunrise. 00z sounding at JAX appears to
have sampled a portion of this air mass, though the boundary layer
has stabilized somewhat due to earlier convection. Even so, ample
buoyancy and shear appear supportive of potential organization. For
these reasons will maintain low severe probabilities. For more
